Repository Policy
Nesir: Journal of Literary Studies encourages authors to archive their works on personal websites, institutional repositories, subject repositories, or open access platforms.
Versions Permitted for Archiving
The following versions may be archived:
- Preprint (version prior to peer review): Authors may publish the pre-submission version on any platform. It is recommended to inform the journal about this when submitting the manuscript.
- Accepted Manuscript (author’s final version after peer review, AAM): After completion of peer review, the accepted version may be stored in institutional or subject repositories.
- Published Version (Version of Record): The final published version (PDF) can be archived in open access repositories. When using the published version, proper citation and licensing information must be clearly provided.
Licensing and Attribution Requirements
When archiving any version, the following conditions must be observed:
- The original version of the article as published must be cited fully and accurately.
- Archived versions must be shared under the license applied by the journal: Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)
- The published issue and access link must be indicated.
Recommended Repositories
Authors may archive their work on the following platforms:
- Institutional repositories (university or research institution archives)
- Disciplinary repositories (e.g., HAL, Zenodo, MLA CORE, Humanities Commons)
- Personal academic profiles (e.g., ORCID, Academia.edu, ResearchGate)
- National archiving systems (e.g., TÜBİTAK TR Dizin)
Timing and Embargo
Nesir allows authors to share their manuscripts on the platforms listed above without any embargo period (immediate deposit).
