Archiving Policy
Digital Preservation
Nesir: Journal of Literary Studies adopts a transparent and sustainable archiving policy to ensure the long-term accessibility and preservation of all scholarly content published by the journal.
The journal is published using Open Journal Systems (OJS) and is technically compatible with recognized digital preservation initiatives, including:
- LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)
- CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS)
- PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)
Nesir has initiated formal inclusion procedures to participate in a trusted third-party digital preservation service. This page will be updated once participation is formally confirmed.
Technical and Operational Measures
In addition to external preservation initiatives, the journal maintains internal backup and security procedures to ensure operational continuity. These local measures support the publication workflow but do not replace independent third-party digital preservation services.
Print Archiving
Nesir is a digital-only journal. When appropriate, selected issues or special dossiers may be deposited in partner university libraries or maintained in institutional archive collections for documentation and reference purposes.
