Incorporating literary studies that evaluate literary production in Turkey from an interdisciplinary perspective, The Monograf Journal created a comprehensive critical accumulation from 2014 to 2022. The Monograf Journal brought together studies that both closely follow the Turkish context and consider current theoretical debates in the world with this context. Monograph, which started its publication life with the dossier “Literature and Power Relations"; brought together the thinking practices of literature with the methods and possibilities of social sciences with the topics of “Masculinities”, “Ecology”, “The Body”, “Mourning”, “Migration” etc. Likewise, with the "Dipnot" section, the journal brought a critical view to contemporary literary production, which is not given enough space in academic studies. The Monograf Journal, which declared the ending to its publication life with the "Literature and Medicine" dossier, will continue to be an important resource for researchers with its contribution to literary studies.
As the editors of Nesir Journal, we wanted to talk with Melek Aydoğan, Fatih Altuğ, and Hazel Melek Akdik about the Monograf Journal. We attach great importance to this dialogue with Monograf, which has given great direction to literary criticism in Turkey, and to record Monograf's achievements in the world of literature.
